"Advancing the interests of state home care associations and serving as a key resource in advocacy and association management efforts."
On November 2, 2005, the Council of State Home Care Associations was formed for the purpose of advancing the interests of state associations and serving as a key resource in advocacy and association management efforts. This independent organization will foster transparency and effective collaboration between the state associations as well as home care's nationwide organizations.
The goal of the Council is to collaborate closely to advance home care in our state capitols, to work openly with the nationals, and communicate a clear and uniform home care message between states.
"Our autonomy gives us control of our state associations' destiny, as well as that of our membership. Join us as we tackle the Council's aspirations to be an effective, collaborative, and united organization of home care's strongest leaders. Our home care community and those we serve deserve our best efforts."
